ADS ON MOBILE WEBSITES

When you are looking at websites, you see ads that are built into the website. Those are ads placed by Google. They are multi-sized, geo-targeted, and build brand awareness and clicks to your church’s website.

Launching a Google Display Network campaign is simple.

This cost-effective method of advertising reaches people on their mobile phone. At work, home, shopping, grabbing coffee, and everywhere else, your ads are scattered like digital seeds, hitting people all over the place.

Connect with us for church pricing, expectations, and to ask questions.

We see these ads as digital seeds, where our job is to get them in front of people, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through people and bring them to church.

2. RETARGETING NETWORK ADVERTISING

Retargeting advertising is a very popular tool that many churches use to stay in front of people who have clicked on your website. We can launch a campaign for you in our platform. We have the largest church platform for church Retargeting and Display Network Advertising.

Serve an online banner ad to people who already visited your web site.

Keep your brand front and center and bring “window shoppers” back when they’re ready to click and engage.

Every time the user sees your online church banner ad, your brand gains traction and more recognition.

Launching a Retargeting campaign is simple.

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months until the harvest?’ I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest.”  John 4:35

Scattering digital seeds is launching a campaign to scatter 50,000, 100,000 or more digital ads to people around your church that show up on their phone wherever they are!
We scatter the seeds and pray that God would interact with the people who are seeing these invitations and prompt them to respond.
If we do this, we win. Let us help you scatter digital seeds for His Kingdom!

Each month, we are sending out 2-3 million seeds all over the country.

In the past year, more than 100 churches have signed up to have their digital advertising campaigns performed by us.
Why?

Launching and managing any type of digital campaign seems easy, but often it isn’t. The platform for Google and Facebook changes often, so you have to know what you are doing to make sure you are not wasting your money.

Our team is certified in all the digital advertising platforms. We monitor each campaign closely and will reach a higher CTR simply because of the tools we use to reach more people more effectively.

Most campaigns, we like to run the church’s artwork and then we also use artwork we create. Almost always, our ads outperform that of the church. Why? Because the church’s artwork was designed to match the sermon series or event, and not the targeted audience.

Having our team run the campaign will generate more clicks for the same money than if you run the campaign. Additionally, by using our team as an extension of you, that will free you up to do other important things during your week.

stories from church clients

  • Cracking the Divorce Rate
Just one of the concerns churches are facing is the divorce rate for Christian marriages. It’s a terrible statistic and one that Christ Church of the Valley in Peoria, AZ decided to face head on. In fact, the digital tool they used had such an impact, the results will blow your socks off. This campaign really tied the knot!
  • These Ads Foster Leadership
Most of us think Google is only good for searching stuff online. Not True! They have powerful tools, and we’re certified in these tools and love to teach people how to use them. Northwoods Church in Peoria, IL. learned and wanted to launch a campaign to invite people to a leadership conference. This campaign led the way.
  • Texas-sized Directory
Gateway Church in Texas is a mega church, and when it comes to Gateway, they do things Texas-style (all out large!) So, when they got serious about growing a business directory, well, it grew. We've pushed out millions of ads to the local area bringing people back to Gateway's website. Check out the reach from one directory. Is yours next?
  • The Daring Debt-Free Church
Is it possible to have a debt-free church? Journey Church—a safe and stable congregation in Roswell, Georgia, a bustling suburb of Atlanta—would say YES! It began with a whisper, a call from on high. The message was clear and unwavering: “Sell Everything.” In February of 2016 they did just that, and they became one of the few debt-free churches in America. And, it would be safe to say their community and God’s kingdom will never be the same.

  • Why Outsource Digital Advertising?
Great question! There are a variety of reasons to outsource your advertising, and we list them below. The game changes constantly. Facebook and Google are always changing up their platforms. If you are not in them on a regular basis, then chances are very good you will not be utilizing the full extent of your money spent. Every four to six weeks the platforms gets adjusted. Some churches are not familiar with all the tools that each provide. Google, for example, does so much more than search. Are you familiar with Display Network advertising? How about a Look-a-like campaign? The tools are available, but you need to know how to use them. It's cost effective. We have studied the math on this. If you were to spend $1,000 on a Facebook click to website campaign, your cost could be as high as $1500 to $2000, depending on how often you review and tweak the campaign. Why? Because not only are you spending the money to Facebook, but your time is money to the church.

Here is a list of reasons that a church benefits from using an agency for running Facebook campaigns outside the walls of the church: To make sure it gets done. Demands are so high on church communications staffers to do internal tasks that there is not enough time to do the external work so it is often left undone. To refine on the fly. Communications staffers usually don't have time to tweak campaigns after they are started, yet that is where the biggest improvements to church Facebook campaign performance often occurs. To get the best images. The performance of church Facebook campaigns is heavily driven by the quality of the images and the number of images in the campaign. Oftentimes communications staffers don't have the time to choose really strong images. To use the best keywords. When writing and editing copy, agencies have the tools and the experience to choose strong keywords. To use advanced tools. Agencies are more adept at using advanced targeting tools such as lookalike audiences. A lookalike audience is people who are similar to audiences you already have. We  can create a lookalike audience based on people who like your Page, by placing conversion pixels, or by utilizing any of your existing Audiences such as an email list. This helps find new people on Facebook who are similar to your most valuable audiences. For some clients this can double the conversion rate. To stay on top of the analytics. Agencies are more attentive to campaign analytics and they improve campaigns that are running by eliminating ads that aren't working well and promoting ads that do work. To save money. It is common for an agency to improve campaign results so that the church gets more for their money than they would get doing it in house. To get timely reports. Agencies have the staff and expertise to produce campaign reports on time. So, keep in mind that agencies can apply their expertise to save the church time and money while making sure the campaign gets built, launched, refined, and reported. Advanced Church Facebook Campaigns Facebook has some exciting advanced features that help improve targeting and improve the measurement of results. Our experienced Christian campaign managers are well versed in using these features in church campaigns. Conversion Tracking Conversion measurement lets you track actions people take after viewing your Facebook Ads across multiple devices, including mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers. By creating a Facebook pixel and adding it to the pages of your website where conversions happen, like the checkout page, you'll see who converts as a result of your Facebook Ads. The pixel will continue to monitor the actions people take after clicking on your ad. You can see which device they saw the ad on and which device they ultimately converted on. Other benefits of the Facebook conversion pixel: Ad optimization: When you use the Facebook pixel in combination with Facebook's bidding option to 'Optimize for Website Conversions', Facebook will automatically show your ads to people who are most likely to convert. Measurement: You can measure the number of conversions your ads generate to calculate your return on an ad spend. This way you'll see how much you're spending for each conversion and can fine-tune your ads accordingly. Lookalike Audiences We've been helping clients reach a targeted audience by creating Lookalike Audiences. Through these campaigns we can reach new people who are similar to audiences you already care about. We  can create a lookalike audience based on people who like your Page, by placing conversion pixels, or by utilizing any of your existing Custom Audiences. This helps you find new people on Facebook who are similar to your most valuable audiences. For some clients this can double the conversion rate. Retargeting in Facebook Retargeting and remarketing are synonyms that describe a technique for showing ads to people who have previously visited your website when they are in Facebook. It is accomplished by placing code on your website that "cookies" visitors. Generally, a small percentage of people who view your website will convert by filling out a form or taking some other action on their first visit. This is why remarketing in Facebook is critical. Getting in front of the people who have already viewed your website increases your chance for a conversion because they are gaining familiarity with your brand through repeated exposure. • Church Growth - Inviting the Outsiders In
Church growth involves reaching non-believers who are in various stages of their faith journey. Some are seekers and some are advanced in their understanding of scripture, their prayer life, and their involvement with the church, or lack thereof. This varied audience necessitates different messaging outside the walls of the church than within the current body. As a general rule churches will get more new people in the door by communicating these kinds of things: Sermon series about marriage, family, and parenting. Announcements about Christian music performances. Invitations to Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other sermons and events. Announcements about 4th of July Events and Fall Festivals. Announcements about honoring veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans' Day. Communicating these things will fuel church growth. Here are some examples of successful online announcements. Google and Facebook Outside the Walls Helps Church Growth Many church communications staffers have harnessed a plan for using Google and Facebook inside the walls of the church, but because of the complexities and ever-changing nature of online advertising, would benefit from help extending their church Facebook to reach outside the walls. Here at Missional Marketing we are passionate about helping churches use Google and Facebook to reach audiences outside the walls and into their local communities to promote healthy church growth. Google and Facebook church advertising can be geo-targeted to the area surrounding the church's campus(s) to create awareness of your local church when people are searching in Google or using their Facebook accounts. This is especially useful for effectively announcing seeker friendly events and sermon series such as those listed above. • Church YouTube Advertising
    Church YouTube Advertising
Church YouTube Advertising Here are the details for church YouTube advertising provided by Missional Marketing. We’ll show video ads for your church on YouTube. The good news is you don't pay for random impressions or “maybe-they-saw-its”. Viewers have to choose to watch your video and your costs are minimal. You can show videos that play longer than 30 seconds, and you can experiment with different formats. For example you can show a video of a testimony of a person who found faith in your church. Or you could show a video of your church’s leaders explaining what your church stands for. It can also be effective to show a video about an upcoming event or sermon series. These video ads appear on both YouTube and other publisher sites in the Google Display Network for desktop computers and high-end mobile devices. With church YouTube advertising, you pay when a viewer watches 30 seconds of your video (or the duration if it's shorter than 30 seconds) or engages with your video, whichever comes first. Video interactions include clicks on the call-to-action overlays (CTAs), cards, and companion banners. Unlike cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand impressions pricing, you won't need to pay every time your video is viewed. Church YouTube advertising can be targeted to specific geographic areas and they can also be targeted to specific demographics. STEP 1 – CHOOSE YOUR VIDEO FORMAT The two church YouTube advertising formats are described below. Your church can choose one or both of the formats. YouTube In-Stream Church Video Ads This is the format that is most often used by churches. Use this format when you have video content you'd like to promote before a video on YouTube. These ads are the kind of video ads that run before a main video that a viewer has selected to watch on YouTube. After seeing the first 5 seconds of the ad, the viewer has an option to skip the ad and jump to the beginning of the video. These kinds of ads are similar to TV commercials in the sense that they interrupt the viewer to show them something. These are the kind of ads a church would use if they wanted to make YouTube viewers in specific geographic area aware of their church. In-stream videos can appear on YouTube Video Views and on other video publisher pages that are in the Google Display Network. YouTube In-Display Church Video Ads This format is not used by churches as often as the In-Stream Video Ads described above. This kind of video ad is more appropriate for church messaging that is educational or informative enough that a viewer might click on it if it piques their interest. A few examples are video ads about Christian Parenting or Successful Christian Marriage. Use this format to promote a video next to YouTube videos, as part of a YouTube search result or within other website content across the Google Display Network. In-Display video ads will appear: • On YouTube search results • On YouTube-related videos • As a YouTube overlay • On partner websites You’ll be charged only when viewers choose to watch your video by clicking a thumbnail (a small graphical image) that is shown adjacent to the search result. STEP 2- PEG YOUR BUDGET Start by selecting the highest price you want to pay per view. This is called your Maximum Cost Per View. We suggest a Maximum Cost per View of $0.50 per view. We also suggest a minimum spend of $1,000. So if you spent $1,000, you would aim for 2,000 views. If your actual cost per view comes in lower, you’ll get more views as shown in this table: For an in-display video ad, you'll pay when people begin watching your video. For an in-stream video ad, you'll pay when someone chooses to watch your video or clicks on the call-to-action overlays (CTAs), cards, and companion banners. STEP 3 – DETERMINE WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE CAMPAIGN SET-UP Assuming your church has a YouTube page and the video has been produced by your church and uploaded to that page, the campaign set-up fee is $100. If you need us to create the page and upload a video that your church produced, there’s an additional charge of $200 to set-up. Note: The video content must be hosted on YouTube and a Church Video Ad cannot be played from other video channels such as Vimeo. If you would like us to create the video we would have to determine the scope of work and provide you with a video production quote.
